My attempt at studying Da Vinci's drawing techniques. This master study surprisingly involved lots of time and effort to achieve the virtuosity of his original drawing. There's an image of the piece in progress as well as an image of the finished piece alongside a grey-scale printout of Leonardo's drawing.
The piece is a graphite, charcoal and chalk drawing on 8.5 by 11 inch sketchbook paper.
