Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation.
My interpretation of the Greek goddess was inspired by the 19th century painter William Bouguereau's The Birth of Venus. The pose of the figure is altered from Bouguereau's Venus as well as her ethnicity. The chaotic background is an altered wall whose color scheme influences Aphrodite's painted dress.
